What is included in this window regulator repair kit?
This is a repair kit with the parts that commonly break inside the regulator — clips, sliders, gears, and cables. It is not a complete regulator assembly and does not include the window motor. You reuse your existing motor and frame, replacing only the worn parts.
Should I replace just the broken part or all the parts in the kit?
Most regulator failures come from a single broken plastic clip, slider, or gear — not the whole mechanism. We recommend fitting all the parts in the repair kit while the door panel is off, not just the one that broke — the remaining original parts are the same age and prone to failing next.
