Description +

Keys with electronics are complete remote car keys — chip, circuit board, buttons, and blade — that lock and unlock your car remotely and start the engine through the immobiliser. We cut the blade to your lock from a clear photo of your original key. We do not program keys — the remote must be programmed and the chip encoded locally by an independent garage, auto electrician, or locksmith. No main dealer required.

Frequently Asked Questions +

What does a remote key with electronics actually contain?

Four working parts — a metal blade that turns the lock, a circuit board and buttons that lock and unlock the car remotely, a battery that powers the remote and a transponder chip that the immobiliser must recognise before the engine will start.

Do I have to go to the main dealer to get a remote key programmed?

No — a main dealer is not required for most vehicles. An independent garage, a specialist auto electrician, or a professional vehicle locksmith all have the diagnostic equipment to program the remote and encode the chip locally, usually faster and cheaper than a dealer.

How do I make sure I am choosing the correct remote key for my car?

To choose the correct remote key, compare your original key with the product photos and specifications. Check carefully for:
- the number of buttons and the symbols on them;
- the LED position, if your key has one;
- the blade shape from both the wide and narrow side;
- the exact frequency, such as 433 MHz, 434 MHz or 868 MHz;
- the part number on your original key — this is the most reliable confirmation.

If your key looks different or you are not sure, send us a clear photo before ordering and we will help you check compatibility.
