How is this battery installed in the key?
This battery has solder tabs and must be soldered onto the circuit board inside the key — it is not a drop-in replacement like a standard coin cell. Installation requires a soldering iron and experience with small electronics, so professional fitting by an auto locksmith or electronics repair specialist is recommended. Check that the tab orientation — such as 90° or 180° — matches your original battery before ordering, as the wrong orientation will not line up with the board.
