How do I make sure I am choosing the correct remote key for my car?
To choose the correct remote key, compare your original key with the product photos and specifications. Check carefully for:
- the number of buttons and the symbols on them;
- the LED position, if your key has one;
- the blade shape from both the wide and narrow side;
- the exact frequency, such as 433 MHz, 434 MHz or 868 MHz;

What does this new remote key need before it works in my car?
Three things:
- the blade must be cut to your car's lock;
- the electronics must be programmed to your vehicle to lock and unlock remotely;
- the immobilizer chip must be encoded to start the engine.
Without cutting, the key will not turn. Without programming, the engine will not start and the buttons will not work. Diagnostic equipment is needed from programming the remote and encoding the chip.
Can mr-key.com cut and program this key for me?
