What material is this screen protector made of and how durable is it?
This protector is made of crystal-clear hydrogel/TPU film — a flexible, self-healing material that absorbs minor scratches and resists scuffs from gloves and helmet visors. The film is weatherproof and UV-resistant for daily motorcycle use, sitting flush against the screen without raised edges. Compared to tempered glass, hydrogel is thinner, more flexible, and conforms to curved or recessed dashboards that glass cannot fit.
How do I install this screen protector without bubbles or dust?
Install in a clean, dust-free space and work slowly in one motion. Clean the screen with the included microfiber cloth, peel the protector backing, align it carefully over the dashboard, and press it down from the center outward using the included application card to push out air bubbles. Hydrogel film is forgiving — small bubbles usually disappear within 24–48 hours as the film fully bonds to the screen.
Will the screen protector affect touchscreen or button response on my dashboard?
No, hydrogel film is designed to preserve full touch and button sensitivity. The material is thin enough that capacitive touch, gesture controls, and physical buttons under the screen all respond normally through the film.
