1x KEY BUTTON

This is a small electrical switch that solders onto the circuit board inside your remote key. It is the contact component that registers a press when you push a button on the fob — not the rubber or plastic cap on the outside. You replace it when a button on your remote stops responding or works only when pressed hard.

Match the shape, dimensions, and pin count of your old switch to the product photo before ordering. Pin count is critical — a 4-pin switch will not fit a circuit board designed for a 2-pin switch, and the reverse is also true.

This switch must be soldered onto the circuit board, so professional installation is required. Removing the old switch and soldering the new one in place needs a soldering iron and experience with small electronics — incorrect soldering can damage the board. An electronics repair specialist or auto locksmith can fit it quickly.
