Description +
Zadi replacement keys cut to code — for caravan and motorhome keys and motorcycle keys. Each key is ordered by the numeric or C-series code stamped on the lock barrel face or original key. No programming. No locksmith needed. Zadi uses distinct code series per application: 8001–9554, Z8001–Z9554, and 4748001–4749554 for caravan, motorhome, and campervan lock cylinders — compatible with Thetford, GHE, SOR, and Knaus systems. The C-series (C5001–C6475) covers motorcycle ignition and alarm switch cylinders for Vespa, Aprilia, Ducati, Piaggio, Indian, KTM, and Porsche. Broader motorcycle ranges (001–700, 1001–2252, 3001–4252, N1–N700) cover BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Moto Guzzi systems. Z-prefix and 474-prefix codes are the same series — strip the prefix and use the numeric value only when ordering.

Frequently Asked Questions +

What code series does Zadi use and which category does each cover?

Zadi uses distinct code series per application. The 8001–9554, Z8001–Z9554, and 4748001–4749554 ranges cover caravan, motorhome, and campervan lock cylinders — compatible with Thetford, GHE, SOR, and Knaus systems. The C-series (C5001–C6475) covers motorcycle ignition and alarm switch cylinders for Vespa, Aprilia, Ducati, Piaggio, Indian, KTM, and Porsche. Broader numeric ranges (001–700, 1001–2252, 3001–4252, N1–N700) cover BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, and Moto Guzzi motorcycle systems.

Where is the Zadi key code on different applications?

On caravan and motorhome systems the code is stamped on the lock barrel face or original key. On motorcycle systems the C-series code is stamped on the original key or ignition barrel. Z-prefix codes (Z8001–Z9554) appear on the original key — the Z prefix is a label convention only, not part of the numeric value used to order. On 474-prefix codes (4748001–4749554) the same applies — strip the 474 prefix and use the remaining 4-digit numeric value when selecting from the drop menu.

My Zadi code starts with Z or 474 — how do I order the correct key?

Both Z-prefix and 474-prefix codes are the same code series as the standard 8001–9554 numeric range. Strip the prefix before ordering. If your code is Z8125, select 8125. If your code is 4748125, also select 8125 — the first three digits (474) are a prefix identifier, not part of the key code. The numeric value 8001–9554 is the only part entered into the drop menu. Ordering with the prefix included will return no results — use the numeric value only.

Which motorcycle brands use Zadi C-series lock cylinders?

Zadi C-series cylinders (C5001–C6475) are fitted across Vespa, Aprilia, Ducati, Piaggio, Indian, and KTM motorcycle ignition and lock systems, and also on Porsche alarm key switch systems. The C-series code is stamped on the original key or ignition barrel. Broader Zadi numeric ranges (001–700, 1001–2252, 3001–4252, N1–N700) cover BMW, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta, and Triumph motorcycle systems — always verify the exact code series before ordering.

Can a Zadi caravan key operate a Zadi motorcycle lock with the same numeric code?

No. Although Zadi uses overlapping numeric ranges across caravan and motorcycle applications, the blade profile and blank differ between categories. A key cut for a caravan cylinder in the 8001–9554 range will not operate a motorcycle ignition cylinder with the same numeric code — the blank is different. Always order from the correct category listing to ensure the correct blank is used for your specific Zadi application.
